Bryant III also attended Morehouse College.

Brother Bryant is an Emeritus Member of the Savannah-based Frogs Club, Inc. which celebrated their 80th anniversary in 2018. He was also a Charter Member and served as the first Secretary of the Savannah, Georgia Chapter of The National Association of Guardsmen, Inc., founded in 1964.
