Brother Anthony Locke (Fall 2003) Assumes Role As Dean Of Students At Crossroads School For Arts &am


Attorney and educator Brother Anthony Locke, Jr. is the new Dean of Students at the prestigious Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Los Angeles. A former standout basketball player for Crossroads, Locke has worked in student development at his alma mater and was promoted to the Dean role with far greater responsibility.

Crossroads School for Arts & Science Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences is a private, K-12 independent, college preparatory school in Santa Monica. Locke also founded the Elite Sports Club, premier youth sports program dedicated to using athletic competition as a platform to inspire youth to reach their full human potential.

Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Anthony whole-heartedly believes the very core of education centers on the discovery of self, and as an educator, his responsibility manifests in an unwavering belief that each student possesses unlimited potential. He asserts that the purpose of education lies in the lifelong happiness of the learner, and that education should, and must, transcend the classroom.

It was with these convictions in mind that he founded Elite Sports Club. Anthony states, “I have been blessed with great coaches, family, and mentors, who have inspired me in countless ways. My mission is to take those lessons, dress them in the lingo of today and use athletics as the platform with which to teach."

Anthony earned a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from Morehouse College, and obtained his Juris Doctorate from The University of West Los Angeles.
